Happy Wednesday! Recently when I went out to get ice cream with Jared, he took a few photos of me so I could show off my favorite backpack more. I wear this backpack everywhere and it has already been on multiple trips too! Just in the past few months, I took it to Vegas, Hawaii, LA, and Canada. Now I just need to get a commuter bag so I can keep repping PacSafe daily, haha. Just a disclaimer: I received this backpack from the PacSafe team when they had a Seattle event last year but this post isn’t sponsored at all. If you follow me on Instagram then you know I talk about this bag regularly and just love it a lot!
OUTFIT DETAILS: TURTLENECK (similar) / JACKET / JEANS (on sale for $23 with code and they have an elastic waist band !!) / SHOES (More sizes here – get 7.5% cashback using Ebates) / BACKPACK
I’m always taking photos when I travel and even during an outing around Seattle, you’ll probably see me carrying either a camera or my phone. Having my hands free with a backpack is the best for this reason! I also find that it’s much more comfortable than a purse, especially when I’m carrying something heavy like my DSLR camera. I used to complain about the weight of my camera but having it in my backpack feels like nothing! Here are some other things I love about this backpack:
SAFETY FEATURES
The main zippers for the big compartment intertwine and can be locked using the Roobar locking system. There’s also zipper tabs where the zippers conveniently slide under tabs to prevent any type of pickpocketing. I’ve also used the turnlock security hooks to wrap the backpack straps around my luggage or around my chair while in a busy restaurant or airport. Lastly the backpack is made up of RFID blocking material. When I travel internationally with my passport, I tend to keep my passport on me if there isn’t a safe in the place I’m staying so this is just another layer of protection.
LIGHT INTERIOR
The interior of my black backpack is light pink and not only is that SUPER cute, but it makes life so much easier. Well okay, life is a bit dramatic, but it makes adventures that much easier. Going through airport security and lines to amusement parks or even checking in at hotels can be hectic. I find that the light interior allows me to find things I need quickly, such as my passport, saving me time and stress.
CONVERTIBLE
The Citysafe CX backpack is convertible so it actually folds into a crossbody purse! To be honest, I rarely ever use this function but it’s certainly nice to have. When I travel, sometimes I just bring a backpack and maybe one other purse but space is tight when you usually travel with just a carry on. I like that this could double as a sleek bag if you’re really pressed for space.
DURABLE & EASY TO CLEAN
The backpack material is nylon twill and polyester. Not only have I found this to be super easy to clean, but it’s really durable. I’m generally pretty careful with my belongings but when you travel, things inevitably get a little beaten up. So far my backpack looks brand new and I’ve brought it to so many places! It has been in the sand on a beach, on the floor of an airplane, on water rides, and so much more. If any of you have the Longchamp Le Pliage tote or anything similar you know that the corners of these bags get scuffed super easily. Not the case with this backpack, yay!
Isn’t it so cute?? I’m petite at only 5’3 so some of the other backpacks I’ve tried on are way too large and overpowering on my frame. I love that the design is simple and sleek yet the gold hardware makes it fun and still like a fun accessory, such as a purse with gold hardware.
Regardless if you’re a huge traveler or if you just need something for your adventures around your city, I highly recommend this backpack. Pacsafe has a lot of other accessories as well that I hope to check out in the future!
Please let me know if you have any questions about the backpack! And if you have a cute commuter backpack that fits a laptop, I’m all ears :)
I love this too! I have the blush/tan color and use it even when I’m not traveling. My only problem is the straps. I have to keep adjusting. And when I’m wearing sleeveless tops, the straps chafe the shoulder part. Have you found another backpack that’s not too big for your size, and that has padded straps?
Hi Sharon! I love that blush color you have – I almost got that color!! I haven’t had any issue with the straps – maybe if you carry less it won’t dig into your shoulders as much. The other backpack I have now is the RAINS mini backpack for work but the straps aren’t padded.
